Friendica New User Tutorial Recommendations
Hello, I'm writing a #friendica tutorial for folks who want an alternative to Facebook. Nearly all of the target audience have never even heard of friendica. Since this is a group of individuals who are also new to friendica but have at least found your way here - I would like your input.
What is something that you have learned about friendica that you wish someone had told you at the very beginning?
New To Friendica reshared this.
Hi,
My name is Surfer Ken and I'm #newhere. I am still fairly new to the #fediverse and to #friendica. I'm learning as fast as I can and I am looking forward to learning more with you.
(Please note that this account is a test account that I use for testing and writing friendica tutorials. If you wish to friend a real human who checks his account more regularly please friend @Ken Gahagan instead.)

Adding people, adjusting which circles they are in, and muting/blocking people are all things that took me some time to figure out.
Adjusting the items shown on the lefthand menu.

With original posts, the permissions tab (when posting) will give you some control over who sees the post.
